Sean is an attorney with over ten years of experience in Carr & Ferrell’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. In his time at Carr & Ferrell, Sean has prepared patent applications and successfully received allowances in a variety of technological fields, including aerospace, machine learning and AI technologies, circuit board design and housing, video games, augmented reality and virtual reality, and web content management. Sean has worked with applicants from many different backgrounds, including startups, publicly traded companies, and solo inventors.
Prior to law school, Sean worked as a legal assistant for a consumer-side bankruptcy firm. Sean also held internships and clerkships with attorneys working in personal injury and insurance defense, as well as with Chief Judge C. Philip Nichols, Jr., in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
In addition to patents, Sean’s practice includes copyright and trademark prosecution. While he is not working, Sean enjoys playing music at Bay Area cafes and spending time with his family.
