Ken Kaslow is of counsel in the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Carr & Ferrell. Mr. Kaslow has experience in all fields of intellectual property law, especially with regard to patent strategy and prosecution, licensing and intellectual property litigation.  Mr. Kaslow is also experienced in other areas of commercial transactions and litigation.

 

Mr. Kaslow was previously a partner at two leading Bay Area law firms, during which time he litigated cases involving patent, copyright and trademark infringement, trade secret misappropriation, and breaches of licenses and other agreements, including jury trials.  He also did substantial intellectual property counseling, including the creation and development of patent portfolios, preparation and prosecution of patent applications, formulation and negotiation of business transactions and licensing strategies, and patent analysis and opinion work.

Mr. Kaslow has also worked in industry as trusted counsel for a variety of technology-related companies, managing all the intellectual property for two Fortune 500 companies as well as acting as general counsel for several private companies. His work has included both hardware and software, and diverse technologies including semiconductors design and processing, optical and wireless communications, and medical devices.
