Heidi Walas is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group of Carr & Ferrell. Ms. Walas specializes in corporate finance law with an emphasis on venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions and general business matters. Ms. Walas also represents emerging companies in connection with start-up structure formation, day-to-day operations, employment matters and technology transactions, with a particular emphasis on the representation of internet technology companies.

While in law school, Ms. Walas was the Senior Acquisitions Editor and Symposium Chair for the Hastings Business Law Journal, and was Co-President of the Hastings Business and Technology Group.

Prior to earning her law degree, Ms. Walas enjoyed a career in public relations at a High-Tech Public Relations firm in San Francisco, CA.
